Gnarlytown was a PFP (profile picture) NFT project that didn’t make it to launch, but was a fun ride nonetheless! We provided custom branding, typography + lettering, illustration, and character development to bring the world of Gnarlytown to life. Gnarlytown embraces the rad culture of skateboarding and combines it with the spooky!
To build a sense of community, we incorporated three teams based upon the core trait of the character (ghost, skeleton, or monster). Out came the adorable team names and we started sketching out the character’s structure and supplemental traits that can be switched out.
